Wherein I say Thank You

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU
to all of you who came out to see me at Cary's Spring Daze Festival this fine Saturday!  It was my first time doing this particular show, and it was an immense success . . . so much so that I'm actually concerned about my inventory level for NEXT weekend's show!

(Guess it's going to be a busybee of a week in the studio.)

On a side-note:
On the way home tonight, because I live so far out in the country, I was driving along a road between two farms, and to my right, backlit against a fast-fading sunset, were two deer grazing in an unplowed field for their supper.  I had my camera with me and managed to slow down enough to snap this picture for you to see.

Aren't they lovely?

Sometimes I think the deer here must just be the embodiment of spirits among us.  These two reminded me in an odd way of my ancestors, watching over me from a quieter place, following my long and winding journey home with their omniscient eyes, wishing me happiness and traveling mercies along the way.

It was a beautiful moment, and the perfect ending to this wonderful day.

Wishing you a happy tomorrow,

  1. Jess,
I truly believe we are always being watched. By angels, good souls from another time and God.
Not only to protect and bless us, but to keep us on track.
You have a wonderful blessed day everyday!
