At Last: Life & Death

I have been on a Frida Kahlo kick lately.
I think some of her life, death, and iconography have been seeping their way into my work.
I think she is amazing.

So.
For love of Frida:

* * * * *

The Ascension Necklace:
(Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper, Sterling Silver)

"I hope the leaving is joyful; and I hope never to return."
- Frida Kahlo

* * * * *

To Overcome Necklace
(Chohua Jasper, Sterling Silver, Cubic Zirconia)

"I think that little by little I'll be able to solve my problems and survive."
-Frida Kahlo

* * * * *

Risen Ring:
(TeePee Canyon Agate, Sterling Silver, Cubic Zirconia)

"Feet, why do I have them if I have wings to fly?"
- Frida Kahlo

There you are.
I hope it was worth the wait.

  1. Oh my god, I think I blacked out for a minute there... I have never, ever, EVER seen anything like these. They are spectacular, powerful, imbued with a passionate spirit.

    P.S. If I bought everything of yours that I loved, I would be living under a bridge, wearing a paper bag and the most stunning collection of jewelry ever.
