Mac Passed

It is with great sorrow and a frightened wallet
that I bid farewell to my longtime companion.

After a rough couple of weeks battling
technological and age-related complications,
Mac died Saturday evening of old age.
He was seven years old.

It was a peaceful passing.
He went to sleep, and never woke up.

He was a good business partner,
quick with a word and a photo in his prime,
and a loyal friend as well.
The cats in the house will remember him for
his loud purring motor and the way his keyboard
kept their bellies warm at night.

He will be missed.

I'm writing you from the local library.
I'll be shopping for a shiny new Mac later this afternoon
and hopefully will be back up and running by either
late tonight or first thing tomorrow.

How's YOUR Monday going??

: )

  1. My deepest condolences on Mac's passing :( I just returned from my yearly eye exam and with my huge, black, dilated pupils I look like the Wicked Witch of the West who just saw a ghost! Happy Monday to all!
