BACK

I'm HOME!!

Back with stories.
And pictures
(once I unpack the camera,)
a grin for fools.
Vintage suede chaps for The Monkey.
River reeds plucked from the banks of the Gunnison
and fresh slices of shining mica.
Energy.
Drive.

A new wedding band.
A motorcycle.
And . . . ahem, mojo, thank-you-very-much.
(Careful, people. Colorado does things to you.)

Yesterday I left a dry 65
and returned to a humid 96-

My hair
{{and my heart}}

couldn't get much
bigger.

  1. I'm feelin' ya' on the hair....and that was why five years ago when I moved to NC, I dumped John Frieda for L.A. Looks. There was no 'dear john' letter just the realization that I couldn't afford to eat and maintain an acceptable hair size. Welcome back! Lookin' forward to seeing the new stuff and so ready to drool. ;)

  5. Jess!!! Welcome home, girl! Sounds like you had an awesome trip. A motorcycle?! I can't wait to hear all about it.
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who likes to keep chunks of mica. I have a little collection that shines on my kitchen counter.

  8. Lord, but I hate humidity. And heat. Anything about 70 and I'm irritated and bitey.

    So excited you're back!
