Acclimation and Growing Pains

There has recently been an internal shift
and I don't now know if I've been dodged or burned.
Whether there is more or less of me to give.

Amusing, this life of mine.
Where joy and pain fuse in an incendiary union...
And ignite a stream of consciousness blog post.

Once again I'm seeking she who seems to have
slipped away in the soft smoke of sanity.

The crack of opal bones when I find my knees
reassures me that I'm still in here.
I'm here.

But tonight I can't feel my body.

Must again be the swift slap of change.

Damn.
But we love playing with fire.

  5. Trust that you are seen, dear lady, and loved. I found this quote, and thought of you:

“There are women who make things better... simply by showing up. There are women who make things happen. There are women who make their way. There are women who make a difference. And women who make us smile. There are women of wit and wisdom who- through strength and courage- make it through. There are women who change the world everyday... Women like you.”

  11. Ahhhh, how eloquently you put words to life. As odd as those out of body moments are, they always bring some sort of insight.
And I must say that I have a deep urge to turn that second portrait into a painting.

I don't know why I just saw the comments from you two. So sorry to have missed them before. Either blogger misfired or I did. (Most likely the latter.)
