Of Breakfast

The Hunger Assault

Incidentally, this egg wasn't fried hard enough for my taste.
{I have a fear of my breakfast clucking at me,
what can I say?}

Simple, simple!

1 egg fried and topped with a slice of mozzarella
napa valley wine pesto 
slice of fresh tomato
(-- psst, avocado is good too --)

... all piled on a whole grain english muffin.

** Usually eaten with a side of fresh strawberries
but today, those didn't survive the time it took to cook the egg **

Right then.

...Now I can work.

  1. I get made fun of round here for wantin' my egg fried all the way through. Oh...and by the way, I eat this at least three times a week...for lunch. ;)

  2. I'm the same way about an egg. No wiggly bits for me!

  3. I'm a strange one with eggs -- I like the whites to be brown and crisp around the edges but I like my yolks to be really runny so I can spread them on my gluten-free toast, and let the toast absorb the yolk. My Significant One wants to resign from ever frying me another egg!!!
