Septemberish

As I put this blog post together, the cicadas are singing.  A storm just blew through, washing away the dust that's settled over the past week or so.  I wrapped up my photography through the final smatterings of fat raindrops as they fell from the oak branches overhanging the front stoop.  It's a typically hot, bug-laden, thick-aired and sultry smelling day here in the south.  I'm crunching on fresh scuppernongs and practicing my spitting between bouts of photo editing.  Classic rock hums from the back of the house.  The dog sits up, stretches, scratches, begins panting in protest to the heat and in turn lies right back down.  I crack my knuckles.  Hello, September.

    1. Thank you so much, Zoe! I actually struggled quite a bit with the white balance in these... I'm using a Nikon D200... quite old by technology's standards but I enjoy it! So appreciate your kind comment. :)

    1. Aw, thanks lady! Yes, mental clutter is clearing right on up- I read somewhere that the professional artist will not tolerate mental nor physical clutter. Been trying to implement that more and more, cutting out bad relationships, letting go of physical extras, clearing space, clearing the air. It feels good! Thank you for being here.
